P2P legal in France? |
Found this site from slashdot. It seems the French government pardoned the charges brought against him from downloading more than 500 movies. Apparently since he wasn't sharing them or making money from them he wasn't doing anything illegal. Their argument was also that since they pay private copy fee when they buy computers and blank media it's sort of paid for. The article is in French so you may want to use bablefish to translate it. |
